The combination of steady heat and well-drained clay loam soils in Hess’ Allomi Vineyard allows fruit to ripen evenly, gaining welcomed complexity and layers of flavor. On the nose, the Allomi Cabernet offers enticing aromas of currant, blackberry and elegant expressions of lavender. Juicy black fruit are met with plush, well-integrated tannins, espresso and a hint of oak spice.
