Chateau Mouton Rothschild Pauillac 2016
Among the best known names in wine, Chateau Mouton Rothschild was elevated to first growth status in 1973. In doing so, it became the first, and to date the only, wine to be promoted from its original place in the 1855 classification.
The 2016 Mouton reflects the power and intensity of the vintage, and is certain to be regarded as classic. William Kentridge was commissioned to paint the label, a piece entitled “The Triumphs of Bacchus.”
