Ellena Barolo Ascheri has a great value with ripe layers of dark fruit, cherry, Indian spice and dried rose petal. It puts all its cards out there for you to read but with a solid skeleton of structure and the skin of tight tannins. The mouthfeel is sweeping and wide and the finish is laden with lovely softness and ripe fruit.
